Most of these models can be placed under the counter. They produce gourmet ice cubes with no hole that is thimble shaped, transparent and slow melting. Round ice cubes enhance the flavour of all drinks; have a greater eye-appeal and extend the chilling effect for a longer period of time. These ice cubes are made in machines using a horizontal evaporator on which water is sprayed from underneath.                                                                                      B:Modular Ice Machines The ice making technology for the Globus Premium modular ice machines (that need separate storage bins) is based on a vertical evaporator that allows for high ice production capacity at low operating costs. The vertical evaporator produces an ice sheet that upon dropping into the bin, breaks into single die-shaped cubes. They produce Dice Ice Cubes – that have a classic shape with six sides. One of the sides is concave, allowing for greater heat exchange surface, resulting in faster cooling of soda beverages and long drinks.
